How to Use Steam
Steam is a global digital game distribution platform from Valve Corporation.
It centralizes the purchasing, downloading, managing, and updating of your games. All purchased games are managed together under your account, eliminating the hassle of managing physical DVD-ROMs or individual serial keys. Steam also offers various features to enhance your gaming experience, such as Friend functionality, achievements, and cloud saving.

To play these titles, installation of the Steam client and creation of a Steam account are required.
Four Simple Steps to Get Started with Steam
1. Download the Steam Client
Download the Steam client from the official website and install it on the PC.Open a browser and visit: https://store.steampowered.com
Click the “Install Steam” button located at the upper right of the page to download the installer.
Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation process.
2. Create a Steam Account
Launch the Steam client and create a new account.*Please note that users under the age of 13 are unable to create an account.
Launch the Steam client and click “Create an account” located at the lower right of the login screen.
Enter a valid email address. A verification email will be sent to this address.
Choose your country of residence, carefully read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and proceed if you agree to the conditions.
Open the verification email and click the link to complete the account setup. After verification, set your account name and password.
3. Purchase a Game
Search for the game on the Steam Store, add it to your cart, and proceed with the purchase.Click “Store” at the top of the Steam client and enter the game title in the search bar.
On the store page, review the game description, system requirements, and the EULA (End User License Agreement). If everything is acceptable, proceed with the purchase.
Click the “Add to Cart” button and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed to the checkout page.
Select a preferred payment method such as a credit card or PayPal, and complete the purchase.
4. Downloading and Playing a Game
Purchased games are added to the Library and can be downloaded and played immediately.Click “Library” at the top of the Steam client to view the list of purchased games.
Choose the game you wish to install.
Click the “Install” button and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Once the download is complete, click the “Play” button to launch the game.
